I-CAT CT Technology

The ICAT is a cone-beam 3-D dental imaging system. It allows the doctors to look at an immediate three-dimensional image that improves diagnosis, accuracy, treatment planning and treatment results. The ICAT has become the standard of care for implant treatment planning and placement.

The scan is done right in the office, not in a hospital. It takes 20 seconds and is significantly less radiation than a medical CT scan. The 3-D images are created immediately and can be viewed by the patient to better understand their treatment options. Dr. Eddy and Dr. Gadhia also share these scans with patients’ dentists for comprehensive treatment planning.
